I very much dislike the new mentality of the service departments. It used to be, schedule a date and we will try to diagnose that same day. Now its, give me your truck so it can start the queue. We might look at it a week or a month from now.
Its 2024 and new Flashes are still getting the powertrain malfunction/reduced power. Did Ford underestimate how many HVB failures they would have? Do they just plan to continue on replacing modules on a case by case basis? I would love to see data from other manufacturers and compare what their...
Just got my obd link today. Downloaded carscanner and was curious to see what the HVB state of health was going to be. The truck is 2 weeks shy from when I bought it new, crossing 23K miles. Its at 99.5%. Couldnt be happier! Being that the majority of degradation occurs in the first year/25K...
I just checked, its the same for me. The demo video does say for 2024 F150's/Lightnings. Its not a surprise that Ford doesnt have it together before releasing a product.
Your parking brake was most likely on before jacking up the truck. When you went to go drive, and the parking brake released, the rear end settled down.
Can anyone confirm if the latest available FORSCAN version 2.3.63 can communicate with 2023 Lightings? I tried to edit some settings months ago but forscan was unable to communicate with the truck. I know at the beginning of the thread it says to contact forscan for a beta version, but thats...
My dealer did this update earlier this week. Today was the first bluecruise drive after the update. When I engaged it, I had a WTF moment. The steering wheel snapped into where the vehicle thinks it should be. By contrast and prior to this update, engagements were smoother. I tried to disengage...
OP, take the truck and turn your steering all the way left and drive slowly. Do the same thing as well with the steering turned all the way right. Do it multiple times on a road that isnt perfect, where you will drive over divots and the like. Are you able to hear any clicking or creaking?
Lmao you think having a voluntary recall to please the Tesla gods is a major QC escape? I dont even think the earliest of A2Z prototypes had any issues like Lectron did.
Thats the one item I can say I dont like about the truck, I do wish the HVAC controls were physical. My reasoning is not because its digital, but rather Ford puts ALOT of trust on that display screen. Anything goes wrong, and you lose control of it.
The fact that Lectron had a major QC escape, which I would say falls under the "unacceptable" category of risk management, makes me really wish Ford had worked with A2Z on this.
AFAIK, A2Z saw improvements to be made and updated their adapter without having a QC issue like Lectron did. I don't...
