im looking at getting these as well.

are you still happy with them? I’m mostly conferenced about maintaining range. I get about 2.2-2.3m/Kw now on my Michelin primacy xc OEMs
4k miles since putting them on, I'm getting the same as my stock grabbers. Very happy. The only thing I don't know is how long they'll last. The grabbers lasted 35k-40k for me. If I can get that much I'll be happy.

good to know. I’m at 53k on my stock and these have a higher mileage life. We do mostly freeway driving in LA.

These look nicer, a little more beefy, but not crazy. And Costco has them for a little bit of a discount this week.

you seem to be the only one who got them and shared your experience on the various forums.

@greased I wanted something with a more aggressive look but didn't want to take much of a hit on range or noise. Bridgestone nailed it with these. Toyo's EV tires are also a good option but they are a lot more expensive.

I had to finally replace my OG tires on my Lariat and went with the Defenders. Enough folks picked these on this forum plus it is what Discount Tire's system thing recommending for the Lightning also. So far really liking them (but just coming off my winter wheels with Blizzaks so anything would seem quieter). Already noting +.4. / .5 mpkwh than I was getting on the winter wheels. Rides quiet and good traction on dry roads. Looking forward to some summer trips and towing with them. Thanks forum people on this and other threads!

I did a ton of research on Consumer Reports and Tire Rack and chose Cooper Discoverer Road-Trail. 500 miles and I’m impressed. Even though they are more aggressive than the OEM, they are noiseless. Wet and dry traction are very good. I’m hoping it snows again soon so I can see how they perform in it.

How is your range so far compared to the stock tires? Im debating going with these or the defenders.

I’m put 40K on the Hankooks and switched to Defenders based on this forum reviews. I’ve 500+ miles on them and they are quiet. Won’t know about efficiency for a while but I expect similar 2.3 winter 2.4+ summer on miles/kWh. Rolling at 40 psi.

How were your Hankooks looking at 40? Just crossed 30 and I think they will last 50 for me which us astounding. Running 45 PSI hot.

Great question. The shoulders were pretty gone. Center tread barely decent at 5/32s but the 3 dozen curves X twice a day really worked the tires over the first 10K as I was taking those turns a bit hot. Think I could’ve got 50K out of them if I rolled slightly less fast. Like slower lol🤔! 40 psi cold.

We had a snow spell and I nearly totaled the truck crossing an iced up bridge deck. Tires are too worn for slush, mud, wet grass , heavy rain driving and I was damned lucky.

My Hankooks werent rockstars in the snow but they did alright. I would have swapped tires too if I almost had wiped out. My commute is 95% highway for about 60 miles, I think they look pretty good for 30K. All four of my tires look the same. Alot of people describe shoulder wear but it just seems to be a characteristic of taking turns too fast.

That’s a good looking tire for 30K!

Yep, heavy truck cornering at speed will do that… wear badly on shoulders. It is not a Sport Truck. FYI, worn tires pumped to 45 psi get great efficiency 😂 but eh.. no traction when you need it.
