So far the only thing I have found to get the Hotspot to work again is to plug the car in and let it charge for like 30minutes then on the next drive it will work. After the car being off for bit the hotspot stops working. If I stop for say a quick minute like at a convient store or something...
I am now monitoring when the SSID is present in the Truck to try and figure out when it is not working. It is mostly not working.
In case anyone is having this same issue the code is on github https://github.com/mikec85/Ford/blob/main/wifiscanner
using a TTGO ESP32...
I found a reboot procedure for the Sync 4 system which rebooted it but the Trucks SSID is still not visible. I do have it on to broadcast the SSID.
Sucks I am paying $25 bucks a month for a service I cant use.
Not sure what you are trying to say there but none of those are related.
Number 2 is the truck connecting to wifi not devices trying to connect to the trucks wifi.
Number 3 is totally unrelated.
That and a one time departure time. The set schedule does not work for me. I would like to put in quickly that I am leaving a x time next. Could be at an appointment or at home would be nice to automatically come back to a cool car.
I initially setup the scheduling in the vehicle. When I changed it to anytime I figured out how to do it in the app since I was remote and it was not charging.
Another odd one last night opposite of the previous nights issue, it went from 62% to 99% when my home charging location is set to charge at a max to 80%. I did get the software update for the recalls yesterday evening so not sure if that somehow effected it but that seems like a bug.
Well it charged for 2 nights fine however I got up this morning to find out it has not charged at all again. Ford really needs to fix this how can you rely on a vehicle that will not charge consistently.
So I changed my charge scheduled to all the time to get it charged back up then I cleared my charge location and completely reset it up and so far it has been charging correctly the last two nights. Will see how long that lasts.
Is anyone else having issues with the charging if you have a schedule setup? I have home setup as a preferred charge location with setting to charge only between 9pm and 7am. I will come out in the morning and it would not have charged at all. If I turn off the preferred charge locations it...
For me it is a little annoying just the length of time it takes for you to be able to get it out of park once you turn on the truck. I seem to always have to try a few times to get it out of park.
