I FINALLY got this update yesterday. Took a 50ish mile trip and as I'm walking across the street my phone let's me know I've got a sweet update... and finally got the manual (all my hopes and dreams)
As an aside, this most recent update feels like the equivalent of a meeting before the meeting.
So this morning I wake up, check to see if my truck is charged, and suddenly notice a charge on my Ford pass for $22. Confused, I dig into my account and find out what's going on: 2 months ago I used an EA charger and just got the bill for it today.
I used the service so don't mind paying, but...
Alright, need to vent: my truck was on a train for 3 weeks starting mid December of 22 which screwed me for the last tax credit. I told myself ok... that's what happens and sometimes such is life. Took deliver 12 January and 6 months later the truck gets reduced AND now qualifies for the tax...
Reminds me of a survey I think Ford sent me a few months back where they were asking me if I thought paak was something I would pay extra for. I replied something to the tune of "I JUST PAID 90K FOR THIS TRUCK ALL IN AND YOU WANT ME TO PAY MORE FOR SOFTWARE THAT HAS A VERY REAL CHANCE OF LEAVING...
This one is supposed to work on the DC Fast Charging curve. Got it a few weeks ago and I guess I saw some improvement (it seemed like the charging curve got to max charge quicker).
This is likely because for a long time college was heralded as the end all be all of a successful life. It's silly looking back on it but I was literally told I would be a failure if I didn't go to college (I finally did in my mid 20s). We need to talk about how great the trades truly are and...
This is Ford trying to recover some of that $2 billion or so they've burned getting into EVs, and what they're likely to find is customers already paying for a premium product are simply not going to pay more just because... BlueCruise better be borderline L5 autonomous if they expect me to lay...
Mine was the same answer. I actually was pretty upset (and told them the same) that for what I paid I expect to be able to use ALL the features of my truck without being nickle and dimes for it. I think the survey was focused on phone as a key but regardless I think that's crap and won't be...
It's the detail you want to be thorough. I just replaced my glass on my back window (silly incident moving a desk and shattered it). The safety glass and the dust from are no joke. Safelite took most of a work day and the detail took about 4 hours, so the timeline sounds reasonable and happy...
I watched it hoping to see a different perspective but it's basically garbage hit piece journalism. I literally had to turn it off because it was such a whiny garbage video.
This. The Ford nav has charge stations listed that don't work, are partially broken, or straight up don't exist anymore. I was looking for a way to send this info in and I couldn't find a way.
I shouldn't need 3 seperate apps to properly travel and hopefully charge my truck. I love the truck...
