  1. WhistlinDiesel Cybertruck vs F-150 Frame & Hitch Follow Up Test

Except he cited another example of someone's bumper that detached while towing down the highway. This is a major issue. We all know Tesla is trash, reliability and quality comparable to the worst kias from the 90s, but this is a whole nother level. This is genuinely gonna kill someone if Tesla...
  2. F-150 Lightning August 2024 Sales: 2,654 Sold

Ford's future product strategy is really smart, let's break this down. They're developing a future series of affordable EVs based on CE1. All we know is a small truck, and rugged body suv will use this platform, as well as potentially a sedan, and other shapes. Very, very impressive platform...
  3. F-150 Lightning August 2024 Sales: 2,654 Sold

I mean, if I'm selling 100,000 units of something, and then see an uptick in sales to 150,000 units, then my sales increases by 50%. If I sell a single product, and then sell 5 next year, I'm seeing a 500% increase in sales. Sure, the percentage increase is a lot higher, but the amount of...
  4. WhistlinDiesel Cybertruck vs F-150 Frame & Hitch Follow Up Test

I'm not gonna lie, if I was Ford, I would strongly consider giving whistling Diesel a few t3 prototypes closer to launch. If t3 breaks, Ford gets some idea of what failure points there are before launch and can address them, and if t3 holds up really well to insane abuse, it's a fucking...
  5. WhistlinDiesel Cybertruck vs F-150 Frame & Hitch Follow Up Test

I genuinely can't stand Tesla fans a lot of the time. They're right, the f-150 didn't take the same abuse, it took a lot more and kept working.
  6. Next Gen F-150 Lightning Spied w/8 Lug Wheels & Hub Motors (Larger Battery?) Benchmarking Cybertruck

Exactly, and if I remember correctly, some of those prototypes were having issues, and people were insulting Ford over it.
  7. Next Gen F-150 Lightning Spied w/8 Lug Wheels & Hub Motors (Larger Battery?) Benchmarking Cybertruck

Good sir, this has been confirmed by people working within Ford to be what is known as an attribution prototype. What that means is it's the current gen body but the platform underneath is next generation. Brands do this pretty often, testing the mechanical components of an upcoming product...
  8. Next Gen F-150 Lightning Spied w/8 Lug Wheels & Hub Motors (Larger Battery?) Benchmarking Cybertruck

With t3 coming in 2026 as a 2027 model, it would be hard to justify spending the millions to do a lightning refresh imo. It would only be out for about 1 model year.
  9. First Look: Ford F-150 Lightning Supertruck EV Demonstrator

For real, I theorized this thing could be a preview of t3. That seems more likely now seeing as this thing literally doesn't share a single visual cue with the current lightning. Whereas Ford's other high performance demonstrators clearly shared visual cues with the cars they were based on, just...
  10. This could be the T3 design

Sorry, let me clarify, I don't believe the racer will have three rows. Rather, the production truck will. I only mentioned that, and the stretched cab to refer to the teaser image, which appears to have those proportional changes, if it happens to be accurate, indicating that this may in fact be...
  11. This could be the T3 design

Would give you some open air fun 😂. But in all seriousness, the third row will apparently come with the longer cab, very similar in proportions to the ram EV concept which I linked above.
  12. This could be the T3 design

Respectfully, I don't know where I said t3 was a three row suv. Just that it would have a larger cab with three row seating, like the ram EV concept did. People who've seen it have said proportionally, the ram EV concept is close to t3 with the stretched cab and shorter hood.
  13. This could be the T3 design

It's significantly shorter, at least that's how it looks to me. Which is a change that insiders said was coming for t3. But I could be completely wrong about this, I don't want to get out hopes up just yet. The windshield is also more laid back, compared to the current truck's.
  14. This could be the T3 design

Ford's bringing an EV demonstrator to Pike's peak. They released a vid, tons of crazy areo, but what caught my attention was this shot from the side. That looks to have drastically different proportions to the current lightning, and aligns with what we've been told by insiders. Shorter hood...
  15. Curious on Body Panel Strategy on T3 - is it easily repairable?

Those things are so bad 🤣. I can't believe they're charging 6 figures to sell something so horrible looking.
  16. Do people hate Lightnings?

Yeah, I've noticed haters keep their distance, fans will come right up to you. I own a maverick hybrid, a genuine game changer. I've dealt with some dicks, mostly idiots in full size trucks, but I've also met people who think the maverick is awesome. It's just how life is.
  17. Do people hate Lightnings?

Agreed, definitely a situation where someone was being stupid and hit it, went around to see it, realized how badly they messed up, panicked, and fled.
  18. Next GEN Ford F-150 Lightning Better Than Cybertruck: Farley

From what little we can see, it looks like t3 will still look like a truck, just a little lower, and more futuristic, so an improvement over the current lightning.
  19. F-150 Lightning Switchgear Off-Road Demonstrator Concept Revealed! Livestream TONIGHT @ 7PM EST

The power level seems to be the same as the more powerful lightning setup we currently have. But it's almost certainly had significant chassis and suspension changes done to it based on them jumping it with no issues. I will say this, this is a badass look. I don't usually go for the lifted...
  20. Next GEN Ford F-150 Lightning Better Than Cybertruck: Farley

Yeah, here's what the three row Ford design looks like under a tarp.
