I have a 23 XLT, 57k sticker that i bought earlier this year. right now 13k on the clock... getting values of between $35 and $39... which is about what I paid net of all incentives, state and federal, before taxes and fees...
The financing I got was fairly high percentage and was going to...
LOL, Pro is certainly NOT fleet only... XLT now starts at $62k sure... but again, you can easily buy a NEW XLT right now for under $50. I paid $40k for a new 23 XLT at the beginning of this year... $57k Sticker at the time, for $49.9 Minus the $7,500, minus state incentives.
Hey, props to you...
So you found someone stupid then. Sorry to say it any other way.
A used EV right now is a brick no one is willing to buy unless you cannot get traditional financing and are forced to go to Carvana, Carmax, etc...
There is ZERO reason to buy a Used 1 year old Pro that had a $50k sticker for...
awesome discussion...
So we had my lightning at model 3 for the past year and just recently upgraded to the Y. LOVE the Model Y.
The CT was definitely "Tesla" but what bugged me, it was super noisy. The truck I test drove at Tesla was making suspension noise wayyyy too much. The 4 wheel...
So I was about to pay for a CT but then decided to drive one... and decided to keep the lightning.
CT is definitely cool and 100% autopilot and awesome software... but the rest of it, is eh...
My ideal would be Lightning Plus Autopilot. lol. and well, software that actually works...
Biggest...
As far as the range, it totally depends on how you drive... I have an SR Lightning rated for 240, that I routinely get between 240 and 300... I do not drive 85+.... I suspect CT is similar scenario. If you floor it or drive 100% on highway, yeah, you are not going to get the advertised range...
Have a 23 XLT SR... planned on keeping for at least 5 years as we usually do.... then wanted to trade it for cybertruck... but right now, less than a year after buying looking at 24 Flash.
Lack of autopilot on XLT drives me bonkers.... especially since we love it on our Teslas.
Already...
Hey Folks! Owner of a 23 XLT SR. Love the truck for most part but was ready to trade it in for Cybertruck.... until I drove it. lol.
Biggest things that bugged me on my XLT are 1. lack of Tesla Autopilot.... ok, that's about it... Other nice to haves would be wireless phone charging and a...
In the last year of Lightning ownership, I only supercharged it once... and that was for 5 mins to test out the Tesla adapter... okay, forgot, twice, the other time was to test out the local CCS at car dealer.
99% of the time I charge for free at all the places with free Lvl 2 charging or at...
And vast majority of those cases, they partner with local businesses who give them the property to use. You are not having to purchase property, you generally don’t have to go through many years to try to get an approval to install tanks, or deal with environmental issues on the same scale...
for sure, people always forget that instead of trying to compete for selling cars, it’s much better to own the majority of the gas stations. The real value for Tesla is that now they’re going to have so many people using their “gas stations.“. Except these gas stations, don’t require attendance...
Thanks for everyone's help. Ended up with a great deal on a new 23 XLT SR. $7600 off sticker, $7500 Fed at POS and will get another $2k or $3k from the state as we got sales price to just under $50k.
There are, just poorly advertised.
The big thing is most Lightning’s did not qualify as it has to be under $50,000 sales price.
