2023 Lariat ER, but I was driving an 2001 F250 7.3. This is the nicest truck I have ever owned or driven. An absolute pleasure to drive. I feel folks getting into an EV, need to change the mind set of pulling up to the pump and leaving in 5 minutes. Love my Lariat! Tom

As important as this battery is, why do you as the owner have to go out and purchase another piece of equipment to show the LVB state, when it would be good to add to to the dash!

The LVB, being an integral part of the truck, charge level should be prominently displayed on the dash. We as owners should not have to go to different screens in order to gather information on the health of the battery. If Ford can show the state of charge on another screen, why can’t it be...

I had the same problem, so my dealer had to order the entire panel to repair the one broken clip! Covered under warranty.

A voltage meter/gauge would help in these situations as you would have an early warning that the battery is not charged/charging. As some have mentioned on the forum, you can check the level of charge with a OBD scanner. Without the LVB, you can’t move!

Once again, why isn’t there a gauge on the drivers console to indicate the charge/condition of the LVB?

After I wash the truck and back it in the garage I get the same message that the sensors are blocked. As you can see the sensors don’t indicate anything around the truck. It clears its self after a few days. Any ideas?

Why can’t Ford do an update to include a LVB gauge on the steering column screen?
