I connected my illuminated ford emblem so that it was energized with welcome lights and the headlights via a relay. But not always on

I did update the subscription for Ford Navigation. I regret it. I won’t in the future. On trips ABRP is my go to as it chooses charging stations using my preferences. Use Apple Maps as a back up. I’m hoping someone finds & shares how to flip a switch for battery preconditioning.

Thanks for the word of confidence. Yes the FORScan MFU was involved but I had the education of the many before me who shared their knowledge and files—and then there was the Video showing the precise sequence and how to manage a disruptive power supply.

For my dash cams the power is run through a low voltage relay set to turn off the power at 12.7V. For the driveway at home the truck is connected to a AGM battery maintainer via a connector in the charge port. Camera runs all night in the driveway but only a few hours at a parking lot.

With the IPC MFU what is the recommended settings for 720-12-02 ? I am having no issues with 2880 80– but do not know if that is the preferred or most informative view on the dash for a 23 Lightning Lariat with PPOB & Max Tow.

Hope it’s research for future builds. I imagine an EREV backing up my house for a month with the ICE charging the battery

Great video. Thank you. Gave me the MFU particulars. 5h 45min draws 66A on power supply. What is the small icon in the right lower corner of the dash display. Starts our red, then green with check. Then the icon goes away.
