Does the 2023 Lariat not have walk-away locking? Ours does, but I keep hearing people say it doesn't work. We have no issues. Did we get lucky?
Walk away locking works great for me in my 2023. Can’t seem to get BC 1.4 however.

ay ask dealer. Last time they said they couldn’t do it and it will come someday OTA.

If you are so inclined you can do it yourself with Forscan.

Yea, but you know how that goes. Forget it and you get it when you get it. lol

The changes to enable the WAL are posted publicly and no secret, but message me when you're ready and I will provide you the changes needed for the BC goodies.
Hey there! I think I found the settings for the Blue Cruise and you are correct, 1.4 was NOT installed as the lane change assist toggle is no present but greyed out.
If you happen to have a list of the settings to change that would be great just to make sure I found them all and didn't change ones that shouldn't have been. I took photos to log which ones and where I changed them just in case.

I have yet to find how to turn on the toggle switches for WAL. It works, but no switches.

Blue Cruse features reduced with update. just returned from the dealer who said I received all the updates. I had blue tooth 1.2- Lane Change assist was working and the settings could be toggled ON. Now after returning from the dealer lane change assist will not toggle ON and does not work on the highway. Any idea what could have happened.

That is odd especially that the Lane Assist toggle is not enabled. Did you originally get BC 1.4 via OTA like many 2023's? Or did you enable with FORScan by changing the IPMA config? If the latter, then they may have undone your IPMA changes. That would disable BC 1.2+ and cause the toggle issue.

You may need @rugedraw to look at your history to see what the dealer did.

That's exactly right. If the dealer updated the IPMA or wrote the config from the cloud on it, it most likely wiped the config for lane change etc. Happened to a member on the F150 forum just yesterday after a dealer visit.

Following @rugedraw advise I re-instated the changed digits (by the dealers updates)in FORScan for BC, global windows, & matrix glare free head Lights. This returned functions for global windows & the toggle switch for lane change assist. I do not know how to tell what version of BC I Have.

I used FORscan to have BC1.2.

I used FORscan to have BC1.2.
Then just reapply the FORScan changes. Note @rugedraw and I found a small issue in earlier instructions for Lightnings. For APIM 7D0-09-05 make sure you use these values:
APIM 7D0-09-05 xxxx xxEx 2x--
change the A to E (not 4). The 0 to 2 and the other APIM change is still good.

Note APIM is just for the toggles. To re-enable functionality you need to do the IPMA changes.
