Also: I *think* the my24 trucks will get rid of the passenger's side "fake" charge port door. (See pictures of the Lightning Platinum Black). The press release for the Flash shows the door on the models sans Black, but I think they are just using 2023s for the photo shoot.
I can't imagine Ford...
This 100%.
Back in the early days, because you had to add that option package to get the ER in the XLT..the price difference between the XLT ER and the Lariat ER was only like $6k (I think ~$73k-79k). For that 6k you got leather, moonroof, etc. It was really the way to go..not to mention Ford...
Correct...I was comparing this to the Lariat per quoted post.
My hunch is many people will be looking at this comparing it to a Lariat-- the larger SYNC screen, Blue cruise, etc.
That will happen with the t3. I don't know for sure, but I'm thinking the RAM is going to be really expensive with the huge battery they are promoting.
I don't even think GM is in the ballgame, given the outrageous prices on the silverado EV so far(Fleet trucks msrp $70k+) and the Blazer EV...
It also appears like the rear light bar is gone and the side mirrors are black plastic vs body colored.
On the interior photo I'm also not seeing the keypad for the memory drivers seat.
The value equation is there. Neither Chevy or Ram is going to have anything compelling under $85k. (Chevy is already pricing their fleet trucks in the mid-upper 70s)
PS-- add in the fact you'd get the tax credit on a "flash" truck and no tax credit on the competitor over $80k the price...
The only thing I'd really miss from my Lariat is the heated/ventilated seats.
So from a money perspective I could order a '24 Flash for $69k - $7500 tax credit= ~$62k
A MY24 truck is a pretty good deal, esp if you could get $55-60k for trade in value..'22 Lariat
My issue is I have a commute only 3 -4 days per week....9mi each way. If I wanted to, I could drive nearly a month before plugging in to charge the HVB. I'm not sure I am getting my LVB back to 100%..if my driving is enough to charge it by itself.
So looking at this.....can we conclude the LVB is charged(plugged in) ONLY when the HVB is actively charging? Would it then charge anytime the LVB is below 100%--charging it up to full?
It seems then, like a method to charge the LVB before it gets too low is to put the HVB in charging mode...

Turning the switch to OFF, then back to auto resolved the issue when it occurred. My truck was built sept 2022.
Also-- normal start this morning. No issues or oddities.
Hey everyone,
I've had my truck about one year now with 7000mi.
I've had a really weird quirk occur 2x out of the blue within the last two weeks. It seems like my truck has a mind of its own.
The first time I went out to my truck..key fob in hand to retrieve an item from the back seat. I had...
As much as I love my EV and encourage EV adoption, we're going to be with a significant percentage of gas vehicles(and gas stations) for another 20yrs at least.
The average age of the car on the road in America is 12.5yrs old. Even if we went to 20-25% EV adoptions over the next couple years...
