Entirely possible but it doesn't show up in my service history on Ford's website...unless dealers have access to a non-customer facing history. Buying a CarFax report might answer this question but it's not worth spending $50 to find out something that I can't do anything about.
Ok. So this is…interesting to say the least. I just got around to looking at the paperwork from my truck’s visit to the dealership.
Here is the description of work performed related to the re-installed buzzer.
First off, I never stated that the front hatch is giving an error, nor was this...
My dealer performed this CSP for me at the same time as the parking sensor CSP.
Unless the sound is coming from elsewhere, It appears they also reinstalled the frunk speaker that I removed nearly two years ago because I now have a loud beeping every time I open/close the frunk.
No one asked but here is an update on my saga to get this CSP completed.
In the last episode, my dealership's mobile service performed the CSP at my home but skipped step 11 in the CSP's technical instructions, leaving my 360 camera display significantly smaller then before. The dealership came...
I had my dealership's mobile service come out to perform my truck's 30K mile service and take care of this CSP. It took roughly two hours for the IPMA update to install.
As many of you with a 2022 experienced, I too had the tiny 360 camera display post update. I showed the tech the relevant...
I’m sure there are a number of house hold tools that could remove this lock. Keep in mind that the point of this “lock” is to make it more effort than it’s worth to steal the adapter, not to truly lock the adapter in. Someone would 1: Need to know the lock is there and how it functions, and 2...
I put in my reservation at day 2 or 3 for the CT and just got the invite to order a non-foundation. A bunch of people must of canceled their reservations during the Foundation series ordering window. I wasn’t expecting to get a non-foundation invite for quite a while.
As someone with a truck on BC1.0, I have no plans to extend my subscription, even for $500. The tech is cool but knowing there is an upgraded version, that I was told I'd be getting I might add, I can't in good faith continue to pay for something that is outdated.
On a positive note from this...
100%! Outside of urban/suburban areas I've yet to see a SuperCharger site more than half-full. West Texas can be a lonely place. Many times I started and ended my charge as the only EV at the site. There is plenty of room for a few bolts slowly charging at 55kW.
I just noticed that when navigating via Apple Maps, the miles to destination now shows up under the range remaining in the driver’s display, just like it does when using Ford’s Nav. Neat.
The 4% you are referring to is from this document and the specific wording is, " Less than 4% of the affected vehicle population is expected to require one or more high voltage battery modules needing to be replaced." (Page 9)
In a couple weeks I will be heading out on a long road trip by myself. Half the trip I'll be driving through a semi-charging desert where Tesla SuperCharges are the only DCFCing sites that output more than 50kW and have more than 2 stalls. A concern I've had is the extremely small, but...
Keep in mind that with an XLT or Pro you'll get the 12" screen but there are a ton of features that are locked into the Lariat and Platinum trims. I like the 12" screen better but I like having BlueCruise, Ventilated seats, power folding mirrors, auto wipers, homelink, seat memory, and leather...
$42,500 sounds like wholesale pricing. I'm not familiar with how Tesla operates on the backend but I'd guess they don't want to deal with selling non-Teslas and they simply send them to auction.
When did you put in your reservation for the CT? I've seen online people who reserved at the...
