  1. Could we expect price drop soon?

Why not. F150 is too big to maneuver. A fully loaded mid size truck for 70k is a good deal. Fur eg: rivian r1t
  2. Could we expect price drop soon?

I think it isdue for a refresh. The interior is not bad(at best). Rear seat legroom is worse (like a compact car).
  3. ‘23 Lightning Platinum options removed (heated steering wheel, mirrors, o/b scale)

Yes they removed it from my lariat other too. Also removed motion security detector (alarm if truck is shake/moved with out unlock) Then it's not worth for me anymore. I cancelled my order and for the deposit and reservation amount back from dealer.
  4. Could we expect price drop soon?

Introduce a ranger lightning and drop the prices ob that, that is the sweet spot truck for many home owners, active lifestyle
  5. Could we expect price drop soon?

I am a first 5 min reservation holder too. I will jump on it if I get any 39k trim
  6. Could we expect price drop soon?

They should go back to the prices they were originally introduced. That would make the truck appeal to non truck guys(like me). The current prices are too high
  7. I'm Curious, How Many People Are Considering Not Taking Delivery?

I am a fellow Minnesotan and I am with you on this
  8. Has anyone finished their Lightning purchase online?

I would looove to see this build/price in my Ford account :D
  9. Take Delivery or Pass?

I backed out recently from lariat after getting the build date. I talked to dealer and they gave me a form saying I am releasing waiver on the truck and they sent me a check in a week. $1100(100 reservation and 1000 deposit). In a way, they felt happy and I see they already listed the truck...
  10. What should I do

You can, but it adds 2-3 miles per hour of charge on a regular plug. Not worth
  11. More Electric Lightning

    Wow, nice creativity. Looks good
  12. Looks like the SCALPING market is dead (for now).

These days I am getting quite a few emails of this sort So yeah, looks like the people who need/afford vehicle at the inflated prices bought theirs already. Now it's just not so much demand. Personally I just want this truck, I don't need it 🙂
  13. Looks like the SCALPING market is dead (for now).

Your are missing human factor in the mix 🙂. Add in that to the formula and you will get the answer why/how people are buying, will keep buying. We don't think rationally. If that is the case we would have got a vehicle and driver till the wheels fall apart. - Tax savings - No gas/maintenance...
  14. EV tax requirements possibly delayed

So what it means if the bill is delayed. The existing tax conditions will continue (only first 200k cars per manufacturer are eligible for 7500) ?

  16. MY23 Pro Scheduled for Production 12/19

Yes standard range, and I am sorry, the price is 87,929 (not 81k). Historically they do charge adm but not crazy adm.
  17. Options Removed (chip shortage)

mmm, I don't think you are right. I double checked it twice with the dealer/manager before cancelling mine. To solidify my case, here is the vehicle details in my account - these options (with negative amount) should have said (prep kit) not removal. I wish I am wrong but lmk
  18. Options Removed (chip shortage)

I think that is fair. first 10 min is when need heated steering badly. Once cabin temp is normal we don't need it. I guess it depends on person - person then :D. Once you have it you can not NOT have it. Anyway my gripe being, lariat at that price - there should not be an option to skip. I...
  19. Options Removed (chip shortage)

Yeah, heated steering wheel is one reason I cancelled mine with the dealer after scheduling. And these options are removed for good. As per my salesmen, Ford will not/can not put it back. It looks both the chips and the necessary hardware are removed entirely.
