“Seat Settings” menu constantly popping up

Does anyone else have this issue? The “seat settings” menu will randomly pop up every 30 seconds or so. It basically makes the main screen unusable.

I took delivery of the car today.

I believe that screen will pop up when you press one of the lumbar buttons on the seat controls. Make sure nothing is pushing it or that something hasn’t accidentally pushed the button in and it hasn’t released.
If not that, might be a bad switch.

Thanks, after some playing around ive come to the same conclusion. I’ll have to return to dealer to have it addressed. I’ll reply back here once fixed.

This seems to be an issue with the full flat recline / massaging seats. Both passenger and driver side are affected. The dealer and a ford rep have been very helpful in communicating with me on this. I’ll let the group know how it goes.

I wonder if this may be one of the reasons why the multicontour seats were deleted from all Platinum trims after 6/30/22?

I have a Platinum with the lay-flat option, haven’t had this issue in 1,800 miles EXCEPT it constantly pops up when my wife adjusts the massage seat settings. Aggravating as hell. Might come down to the truck vs her. 45-year marriage investment and she still gets on the back of the motorcycle, so treading lightly for now.

This issue has been fixed for me. Both driver and passenger seat are to plug into a seat control module. The dealer found that the wiring harnesses were not fully 'clicked' in and therefore had an intermittent connection. Once clicked into place, this went away

I have been using Tom's Ford in Keyport NJ. They are an amazing dealer, no ADM on my truck and have been fantastic to work with - I highly recommend them if someone needs a Ford dealer in NJ. I also want to thank members of this forum for offering help too.

This seems a recurring assembly problem with the Lightnings. My driver's seat functions partially did not work - no heated seat, no back fore/aft, no massaging. Dealer found the connector wasn't seated. Interestingly, the seat up/down, and main fore/aft, as well as seat a/c did work properly.
