Since the time I placed my order in September, until now, my trade value dropped about 30%. Luckily, it wasn't a major component of my deal, and I was able to get part of that value back by selling the car to another dealer across town instead of trading it. The used car market in general has really dropped, but for my car, it had been unrealistically high for a while, so it has just come back down to reasonable. I can't complain too much, we put 36000 miles on that car in the last 2.5 years and it we still got a couple thousand less than we bought it for.NW Arkansas. Mainly the softer trade in market. When I ordered I was able to justify the increased price because my trade was worth way more. Now that’s not the case. Higher rates are a factor too. Full tax credit was very appealing but at the end of the day the numbers just did not work out.
