I did the same, But when I try to activate the truck, it says something like... "your vehicle cannot be activated... you need to take delivery first..." Is there some way around this?

I don’t recall ever seeing this message, so not sure. Sorry!

I opened FordPass, which I haven't done in a while. An Activate Vehicle button showed on launch, but when I tapped it, I also got a "You need to take delivery..." message, as well. My vehicle is in the Build process, starting 4/3, and not complete just yet.

Got a text from my dealer this morning that my truck was at the rail yard outside of town and would probably be delivered early next week. Then got a call from the dealer that it arrived this afternoon! Plan is to pick it up Saturday. Original blend date was 2/6 but delayed to 3/13 due to the factory shutdown.

Nice, I suppose my delivery will happen soon. Our builds have paralleled each other.

Picked her up yesterday! Just over a week after the ‘Shipped’ notification. Loving the truck so far!

Interesting thing the sales guy mentioned- the dealer had two Lightnings at the rail yard. They found out, only after the delivery truck had just one (mine), that the other truck is being shipped back to Dearborn. He said he had to call the other dude and break the bad news, and didn’t know why the other truck was being shipped back.

interesting indeed. any differences in the build's between the two? larait vs xlt? SR vs ER? that might give us a clue to something. (my blend date was 2/4 and I'm still waiting!)

I’m not sure what the other build was, unfortunately. Mine is a Lariat ER.

Dealer sent a txt yesterday. Your lightning is in PA!!! Just waiting for it to get here! I'll let you know when it's here or if I get a heads up of the drop off date I'll definitely let you know!!
