Has anybody else chatted with Ford? Are they ever accurate? I did again today for clarification and they told me the order should arrive between 8/13 and 8/19.

Has this quick of a turn around been seen yet with a Lightning?

Not that quick, but a couple of builds in the 7/25 week are progressing to built/shipped in one day!

Anyone else reaching out to their dealer and trying to get a binding contract or signed purchase order, or perhaps actually go ahead and finish the contract ahead of delivery, or just me? I’m definitely worried that if I don’t have one of those things then I’ll lose out on the tax credit when the IRA becomes law.

No. All indications are that IF the new law gets passed (which it hasn’t yet) changes won’t take effect until Jan 1st. If we take delivery before then we are able to claim the current tax credit.

I would be happy as long as I can take delivery and get tax credit this year. Don’t worry about new law, it is for next year.

Only module I have showing in FordPass is Wifi. Anyone else from this week have more progress? Starting to get antsy in my pantsy over hurrrrrr.

Not to worry, that is all I had through out build & shipping I could not see all the other functions until the morning they were doing PDI on my truck at the dealership.

Well my truck has now gone into BUILT status as of this morning.

I also got my email to order my charger yesterday, but dumb me dows not have my reservation number handy until monday.... Unless taxmanHogg can pm it ro me.
