This is Fingerbang's 8/1 build, with modules and tear tag, normally you will see modules first then hours or a day later the tear-tag

I didn't think to look last night at the tear tag, but saw the modules popped, and this morning see a tear tag. I had a 8/1 blend, 8/1 in production, and now the long wait.

It’s a bittersweet week for me - blend date 8/3 - as they get ready to build a truck I didn’t order after advertising Platinum and Max Recline and massaging seats to me, convincing me to order that, then pulling the rug out from under me and leaving me with a truck with 20 miles less range, 200 lbs less payload and 1500 lbs less towing capacity and my wallet $12k lighter compared to what I otherwise would have ordered. Neither dealer nor Ford let me know about the seat delete at all and the $300 discount just doesn’t cut it. I learned about the delete from my window sticker. Long story short, I’m currently trying to get a regional Ford rep to call me back to talk about options. I understand supply chain issues, but they handled this all wrong.

For those who are wondering “what‘s so special about Max Recline?” - I was counting on that to get some good rest on road trips because my girlfriend barely drives, only confident on long straight stretches of highway with no traffic - curves or traffic and she gets anxiety - so the brunt of driving is on me. I was looking forward to resting at charging stations to avoid fatigue. And of course Max Recline required the Platinum trim so here we are.

Thanks for letting me vent on this while I try to work towards some resolution. I may have to take the truck as-is and continue the fight or order a Lariat ER while I drive this truck for the next 1-2 years then flip it when I get the next one. Who knows, maybe I’ll order a competitor truck while I wait for that Lariat after this experience, and this is coming from someone who has been a loyal Ford owner with one exception for 30 years.

I would like to think that this is just a poor communication job. Hopefully you're getting the nicer seats with the motors and hardware already installed, and all that is missing is the control module - which they can put in or sell to you once it is available OR some aftermarket can reverse engineer and sell.

I just logged in to mention that my Tear Tag was populated this morning, it wasnt last night. the modules went active yesterday late morning. And to ask what this actually means to have a tear tag now? Is it that my truck is completed and into QA? And is there somewhere to see the dates of built and shipped?

Exactly, hopefully the next thing you will see is IN PRODUCTON date matching your scheduled blend date, this is the second build week where they are right on time!!!

Then about 2 weeks later a BUILT date if the build passes QC/QA, at that time your personal order page will show a projected ETA

It could be a long wait for a shipping action, when that happens, you will see the stats narrative change on this site and on your personal order page, the ETA may change or stay the same, there will be NO date in the SHOP tracking site under the shipped time element, but the Canadian site will display your ETA's to the public at this point.

Final Preparation, will be a narrative update like shipped, with no date on the time bar.

8/2 Blend Date: Modules popped yesterday. My tear tag showed up this morning and this evening I got the option of activating on the Ford Pass App.....I have got to make room in the garage.

Anyone having trouble with the https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking site? When I enter my info to track it just loops refreshes the page asking me to put the info in again. Not an error message just acts as if I refreshed the page.

I was able to get your record on the US shop site.

Sometimes the loop-back situation clears in a few days
