Great news! Your 2022 F-150 Lightning LARIAT SuperCrew has been built. Right now, we are performing some final inspections on your vehicle to get it ready for shipment. While this could add time to your wait, it ensures that we deliver a vehicle that you can depend on.

I can't tell if this is a generic email, or a "we're going to pull your truck for extra QC" email. Thoughts?

I'll be keeping an eye on the delivery speed for three (or four?) Maryland folks in this build week as an indicator for mine with a 9/11 blend date...looking pretty good based on current estimates.

That is exciting that it is is a built email at least, I haven't received mine yet but hoping it comes soon. I'm sure ours will be on the same truck soon enough!! I'll be hitting up Ford Chat for my daily check around 1p today haha

I'm hoping the "final inspections" are limited to...

Check if the door unlocks.
Check that the door opens.
Check that the truck turns on.
Check that the truck drives on to the car carrier.
Check that the truck turns off.
Check that the door opens from the inside.
Check that the door locks.

Still in production for me. wtf. I know it's been on RAMP 51 since the 18th. Waiting is hard.

Hello fellow Marylanders. I do not know if any of you have been able to drive a mannequin Lightning, but if the wait is getting to you, there are some in Maryland. I was fortunate enough to get to take a Pro for a test drive prior to placing an order.

I know that my dealer (Preston Ford West) has a Pro mannequin, but I'm not sure if they're allowing test drives (my hunch is that they are)...but I'm resisting the very strong temptation to go test drive it because I want to have that first experience in my own

The website updated to built yesterday morning. I got this email early this morning, which had me worried something went wrong. Seems like Ford is making steady progress, yours shouldn't be more than a day or two off.

@kab Seems like builds are fairly steady at around two weeks. Delivery to MD seems steady at one to five days by truck. The only variable is between build and shipped, which seems to range from one day to two weeks. Major shoutout to @TaxmanHog for compiling and updating the data.

When I chat with ford.ca folks they can't tell me anything... interesting. Seems like the ford.com chat folks have more details.

That's an extensive list! In my case, I think the inspector will say "yep, that's a red one. Send it along."
