Has anyone talked financing with the dealership yet? When I asked about the rate today they said 7% or 8%. I feel like this is asinine!

Has anyone talked financing with the dealership yet? When I asked about the rate today they said 7% or 8%. I feel like this is asinine!
Depends on your credit so YMMV. But the best rate they had if we took the $7500 discount was 6.49%. Easy to get a better rate at a credit union. I listed some options in a previous post.

Tracker still says in production but Ford Chat tells me that the truck is received at Ramp 59, Dearborn Truck, MI awaiting shipment ETA of arrival Oct 16 - Oct 22.

lol I had the same experience as you, where they basically told me what the tracker said (In Production) and that I should just look at the tracker. Soo yeah guess I’ll just wait until the dealership calls me to tell me if it ever actually shows up because the chat certainly wasn’t useful.

Local sales rep says he sees "Oct 30th" as a scheduled built date on his end, but I'm still only seeing In Production as well.

What are y’all asking the ford chat that you’re getting actual useful information? EVERY time I ask they just tell me what the tracker says, and politely remind me of the trackers existence.
I ring in with Chat every morning. The specificity in their answers varies. Now I ask them to be as specific as they can be.

I specifically asked the chat what the Secondary Status was (I saw this on another post). They said it was at Ramp 59. Who knows what that means? I assume it's just the spot where they have been storing all the trucks during the CSP hold.

Chat was able to tell me my truck had been moved to another part of the Rouge facility. This implies it (at least) has wheels and tires on it, maybe was driven there???

My dealer just emailed to confirm my truck is on the lot. Just need to finalize financing so I can take advantage of the low interest rate AND the $7500 off. I asked for a few pictures, hopefully I can get this done in the next few days. Keep strong week 9/11, they are coming in....

Still no updates, from the dealer or Ford. Still poking around local dealers and their blend dates... One was blended October 1st and is already on the lot??

I tried doing something similar (saw that you were in DC, I'm in Southeast PA). You'll find that many of them aren't actually on the lot - you can call them but what they're advertising as "in-stock" is rarely the case.

I finally got a spicy update - unfortunately it has nothing to do with my truck, it's just dealer drama.
It turns out the reason I haven't been hearing back from my sales guy when I email/call him is... he quit like 2 days after I placed my order, and they inadvertently didn't transfer my order to a new sales person. Sales manager was super apologetic and I told him I totally understood and if anything, thought it was funny.
Regarding my truck - he said until it leaves Dearborn, there's no information he gets that is extra. Once it leaves he can see it mile by mile traveling, but it's apparently stuck at Dearborn, "waiting" to ship out, but they aren't releasing it and he doesn't know why. He said they released several vehicles earlier to their dealership and offered to let me take a look at those, but they aren't in the color I want.
Dude offered to text me daily on the status, but I said I'm already checking nightly so no need. They assigned me a new sales guy but said contact him (the manager) directly moving forward.

TL;DR dealer dropped the ball and did make up for it. Truck is in the twilight zone still.
