6:50 p.m., my Lightning is one state away, at Conway, PA, outside of Pittsburgh!!! Woo hoo.

6:40 p.m., my Lightning has left Altoona (Millers Curve).

Seems my Lightning is on the Norfolk-Southern Pittsburgh Line, which connects to the Harrisburg Line, which has an East terminal in Philadelphia. I'm guessing the Lightning then is put on the Trenton subdivision (CSX) line to go to Manville NJ?

My Lightning is in Harrisburg, Pa as of 2:03 AM in the Enola railyard.

Mine has been sitting in Albany, NY for several days now with no movement and my delivery was just delayed an additional week. Who knows….

Norfolk Southern tracker says my railcar left Perrysville, MD at 2:50 a.m.
UPDATE- Norfolk Southern says Edgemoor, DE (which is in Wilmington) Oct. 24, 4:47 p.m. AVPL, which means the vehicle is Available for Placement. From the experience of @SmokingtheMeats , unless something goes wrong, should have my vehicle by the end of the week, hopefully.

Saw this posted in another thread on the Norfolk Southern codes:

"AVPL: available for placement. Your rail car is at its final ramp

PCON: acronym for “constructive placement”. This means NS has delivered the rail car to the ramp but it’s waiting for another car to be unloaded before it can be parked to unload

actual placement: your rail car is parked at a ramp and available to unload

UNLD: unloaded. Your truck is no longer trackable through NS "

Found this on a MachE Forum:
" "Actual Placement of Car" is one of the final Norfolk Southern steps, meaning it has been placed at the facility for unloading. Next steps are "Unloading", followed by "Released Empty" (the railcar is completely unloaded, empty, and being sent back ). Once these final steps are done the vehicle will be ready to be put on a car carrier and driven to the dealership.

If you look at the the states in the immediate area of Dearborn which are convoy only capable deliveries (MI, IN, OH, PA) here is what you see.

All other states generally travel by rail then convoy, so the better question might be transit times to your region, MN/WI

You're the best as always, sir. I looked at states in the vicinity, but it's not a big sample size. My sticker only says convoy, so I presume there is some variability RE: where a dealer is located in some of the midwest states as to whether they hop on a train or no (proximity to rail terminals?).
