✅ 8/22 Lightning Build Week Group

After seeing the messages the other guys were receiving from Ford the ETA I received READS like production date completion ETA is the 15th-21st not the delivery date. Hoping that is not the case! Been checking the CA Tracker website and all I have is a 9/1 production date - no built date yet.

I've read some other threads about ramp 51 AKA Area 51 where alot of trucks have been sitting there a month or so before being shipped. I didn't order a spray in bedliner, but I do have Max Tow so that could be holding it up. Hopefully more info soon!

It really could be anything. I had both max tow and spray in and my truck is in route to the dealer. There could have been a QC issue with your build or any number of things

I stopped by my dealer, Shultz Ford in Pittsburgh, to see if they could tell me anything more than what I got from the chat yesterday (which was it would arrive between today and the 9th). My salesman said the communications from Ford are all over the place and that they pretty much just wait to see what shows up. He said that one of the drivers delivering Broncos said to him, there is one of yours that's been sitting in the lot for 2 weeks but no one can find the keys. Sounds like it's a well oiled machine.

Remember that Y'all will ride the CSX rail to East Brookfield, disembark the rail car then stay a few hours to days in the hold lot until your CONVOY driver(s) arrive to bring your trucks to the dealerships.

@TaxmanHog My Ford dealership is in East Brookfield. I saw cars being off-loaded from the rail depot all the time on my way to East Brookfield Court during my "working" days. Car trailers with new cars fly up and down Route 49 all day!

I also noticed that the gap between my "order confirm date" and delivery eta date is only 90 days! Fast!!!!

Thought I'd check the vehicle tracker one more time before going to bed and just got the update that my truck has shipped! With luck, if their delivery window is right, there's a chance I'll be done hitting the gas station by this time next week!

I had originally ordered it and then changed the order to remove it. I bought a Dual Liner - "I want my truck and I want it soon" was my thinking.

I don’t think so cause mine was done in a day. 8/18 blend, shipped 9/2, and delivered to dealer on 9/3 (in MD)

I decided to make an impressionist drawing while I wait for delivery that captures your sentiment but I added a dog and butterfly, why not...

If you have ideas send text and I can send you back the image. Nothing is too crazy...any style of art, cartoon, etc. The AI's are coming sooner than people realize!
