12v outlet in truck bed

A 12v battery in a battery box and a 120 charger plugged into the outlet, will charge when the truck is on. or solar panel and controller..
They also have a remote control that will power a relay that will wireless control your fan from the cab.

I was using a 12v 35ah gel battery and charger to run my bed cover before I hardwired it.

RickL - Thank you. That’s a simple set-up. I have all those items except the fan with remote somewhere in my garage. Is there a fan/remote combo you’d recommend?

The fan would be your choice.
Wireless remotes are a dime a dozen on amazon. I've used 6 channel remotes on my jetters and did far better with a sub $100. Remote than the factory jetter remotes that cost thousands.

A simple 2 Chanel remote from amazon is cheap. Here is one I just looked up for $14.99 has 2 fobs and a 30amp rated relay.

Cleanup would be much easier if you trade up to a PRO ...

I had an all neoprene cab once upon a time. Dodge of some kind. It was dandy to just hose it out.
