I need help with 360 camera calibration I did it 4 times same results

One thing that causes us trouble at this time of year is the high contrast requirement. Snow and or sand over the painted lines, and grey vegetation on the road shoulders all conspire to fail the calibration.

Here are the general guidelines for this procedure.


360 Degree View Camera Alignment
NOTE: Damage to or misalignment of any of the cameras or the body panels they are mounted to, can affect the camera alignment.

1. Prior to beginning this procedure, perform the following:
   1. Verify the exterior rear view mirrors to make sure they are in a normal driving position.
2. 1. Verify suspension is in a normal driving mode, if equipped with adjustable suspension.
3. 1. Verify that all doors, deck lid, liftgate, and tailgate are closed.
4. 1. Using a scan tool, retrieve and if necessary, repair any parking aid camera DTC .
5. 1. Clean the camera lenses. Inspect all cameras (except center high-mounted stoplamp camera and trailer camera, if equipped), the associated mounting hardware and body components for damage.

1. Environmental conditions that may affect the procedure:
   1. Perform procedure in daylight.
2. 1. Perform procedure when visibility is clear with high contrast scenes that are not disturbed by strong rainfall or snow.
3. 1. Recommend driving on normal asphalt or concrete surface.
4. 1. Avoid road surfaces that have a smooth and uniform appearance (e.g. snow blanketed roadway).

1. Using a scan tool, carry out the 360 degree view camera alignment procedure.
   1. Refer to the wiring diagram to identify the camera controlling module.
      Refer to Wiring Diagrams Cell 145 for schematic and connector information.
      
2. 1. Select the controlling module on the diagnostic scan tool screen.
3. 1. Select the alignment procedure.
4. 1. Follow the on-screen instructions.

1. After the procedure is successful, verify the quality of the 360 degree view camera on the display.
   1. Drive to a parking lot and stop vehicle over straight parking designation lines.
2. 1. Activate the 360 degree view camera system.
3. 1. Drive slowly over the parking designation lines while watching the corners of the 360 image for stitching quality. Lines should look continuous.

My 3 least favorite ADAS calibrations are,
1. Audi dual front radar ACC
2. Older Nissan Front radar ACC/ AEB
3. Ford F series SVC
4. Older Mazda BSW
Ford, in my experience has 3 different SVC calibration options. On the Explorers, it’s a dynamic calibration that calibrates very quickly. For the Expedition, and older F series, they have huge mats to go on the driver and passenger side. And then on the newer F series, and some Lincoln’s, it’s a very, very tedious dynamic where you drive the vehicle approximately 3 mph in a straight line with preferably a yellow line in the middle and a white line or a yellow line on the passenger side. I’ve only had them calibrate on one road and it has to be around noon on a sunny day.

This was the only time that I ran into one that had to be sent to the dealer since all the cameras weren’t operating, except the BUC on the tailgate.

This is what normally happens when the conditions aren’t perfect for the calibration of the SVC.
The “rear brake assist” goes away after approximately 30 minutes, or 20 miles of driving after a failed SVC calibration.

iF YOURE HAPPY WITH THE STITCHING AND HOW IT LOOKS yOU CAN FORD THE 1578 dtc TO GO AWAY. I can manually force the ipma to complete calibration.

I just tried the calibration again with FDRS tha gauge.
in the middle start from 80% not from 0%, zny advance please
