My A/C is not working after BMS recall work, was working fine when I dropped it off. Service department said it is unrelated and will have to pay for repair. I also got a power train malfunction warning yesterday and called for that service and my dealer can’t get me into the “transmission shop” until July.
Sil-Ter-Har in Broomfield Colorado is my dealer and I’ve been really happy with them up until now but this series of events has me concerned because the call-taker in the Service Department is not all that knowledgeable and says things that are worrying. That leads me to my next recommendation for @Ford #Ford.
I think Ford needs to have a central service call number that is staffed by Lightning experts that work for Ford and are enthusiastic about debugging this product by acting as our advocate for service work with our local dealer when malfunctions outside of normal wear and tear items is needed. In other words, things that malfunction due to the new technology should be addressed outside the local service department environment that can leave many owners with a bad experience and not likely to recommend friends and family to buy a Lightning.
I know I have “sold” many lightnings in the 18 months I’ve owned mine, but lately I am adding the caution that there are service issues that come up and may be frustrating from time to time. In other words my “rating” has gone from A+ to B-
Back to my issues has anyone else lost A/C after the BMS fix? And also isn’t the tail-light condensation a warranty issue? My dealer says no but my turn signal blinks rapidly as if the lamp is blown but the actual turn signal is working normally.
