I noticed on my recent road trip that even with Auto off and setting the fan speed manually, the recirculate would still shut off. I don't get it and it felt silly that I needed to check every half hour that if it was still on. When it's cold outside, it's gotta be a lot more energy efficient to keep warm air warm vs warming up outside cold air. Also, I don't like being surprised that it's off when I drive by the dairy farm.
