Nice! Been there. It's kind of a hassle but still satisfying to make it work.
Indeed….
And
yeah, my wife’s not happy with this EV life so far!

just temporary, I swear! You’ll get your kitchen back by midnight 🤣

I have a 100-pound box of adapters from our first road trips in 2012 and 2013 with a Tesla MS - before there were superchargers or any EV charging infrastructure, so we charged using dryer outlets, stove outlets, at welding shops, marinas, campgrounds (lots of those, with many thrown breakers), anywhere we could beg or borrow 220. Several times my box of adapters wasn't enough and I used a scew-jump direct wire method to an open electrical box or panel, once being required to hook up that rig live, without throwing the breaker first. I'm no electrician, and EV travel/charging has become a lot easier since then.

...those of us coming from the Camping world are certainly used to our fair share of 'adapters' that might come in handy, depending on what 'type' of camping you do, and 'where' you do it, and even 'what' you need the electrical power for - air conditioning is the major one.

We just camped over the last week, in five different locations, with five different 'types' of power options for our 30amp 120v camper.
A) the first was a campground with the best options: 50amp 240v outlet, a 30amp 120v outlet, and the 20amp 120v 'household' outlet. I could plug the camper into either of the larger outlets, even the 50amp 240v with an adapter, and have the other two as options for other usage, such as an additional 120v Water Heater external plug, which I used the 20amp outlet for.
B) the second was at the highest campground in Georgia, Black Rock Mountain state park. It had TWO 30amp 120v outlets, and the 20amp 120v 'household' outlet. I'm not sure why it had two 30amp outlets, but, you do with what you have. I plugged the camper into one of the 30amps and the water heater into the 20amp.
c) third, we stayed next to my son's camper, where he lives for college, on a beautiful mountain view lot. He has access to more of a 'hard wired' permanent situation, being full time, so there is no 'typical' campground power pedestal. While our camper is a 30amp variety, we didn't need the full 30amps, so we ran a 20amp extension cord to one of his external 20amp outlets, and did just fine, and WITH air conditioning.
d) fourth, we stayed next to my OTHER son's camper, where he also lives at his college, well north of Huntsville AL. He is also permanent, but has a 20amp external outlet which we also used as before.
e) lastly, we camped for the last night at the City of Gadsden AL's Noccalulu Falls campground. They had all of the typical 50, 30, and 20 amp options at the campsite.

Having said all that, we've seen campgrounds with only 20amp household outlets - yes, there are some. We've also seen city and regional and special parks with only a 30amp 120v outlet, nothing more, not even a BREAKER at the camp site.

As an EV owner, you will start to reckon with what you may have to run into when it comes to 'charging' your vehicle - no matter if it is a Lightning, or anything else. The great thing about a campground is that many already HAVE exactly what you need, and if you are towing a camper, and you need a night's stay anyway, you are paying a lot LESS for the combined OVERNIGHT and the CHARGING. If you were to spend $15 to $20 at a DC Fast Charger, versus paying $30 for a campground overnight, you've basically split the price between the two.

yes, those of us with experience, a little know-how, and a lot of confidence, will have a lot more options. I've done similar with our experiences in the motorhome world, and now the EV world. I'm not 'afraid' to look for custom options, when required, and am not scared about electricity and how it works. It's not near as daunting as some make it out to be.
