Yes, I pay $0.162 per kWhr. I ran the math and the Lightning will save me almost $200 per month vs. gas in my XLT.
But, now you also have PB as an option as well.

My 2021 limited costed me 71k , similarly equipped lightening will be north of 90k, I am happy to pay couple hundred extra per month for gas vs EV

I got 2k more for my 18 limited what I paid 2 yrs back, I did by used though. ?
Right, values are crazy higher right now, but I expect they will come back to earth before I get my Lightning. The goal would be to trade in my XLT (and get the higher value) and get something that won't crash in value as much.

Yeah, but the PV wouldn't really save me much if anything in gas costs vs. my 2.7. my goal is to go all EV (wife has a Mach-e)

Unloaded XLT will hold the best value in my opinion. XLT high usually has 2k discount, I bet you will not lose much with that option.

An unloaded XLT is what I have now. Today, it is worth about $28k. Next year, I expect it will be worth about $15k as trade values come down. Looking at historical trends I would expect the $60k Raptor to be worth $50k to $55k next year, though I will be out tags, title, and license if I get one.

Ended up taking a chance and grabbing a 2017 Raptor with 42k miles. Numbers seems to work out when I run them, but guessing future vehicle values is always a crapshoot.

At least it will make the time waiting for my Lightning a little more enjoyable.
