I guess I am too old to understand what looks so good about that style. It looks like many other pickups to me. It is a good looking truck period.

What I am wondering is what does cutting half of the coil spring in the rear do to its capacity for carrying loads and trailer hauling. Might see the bumper scraping the ground. I don't know, maybe cutting half a coil spring makes it stronger.

I like it, looks like a truck to me. It must be much easier to load and unload the bed.

I’ve wanted to lower my 24 Lariat since the day I brought it home. Thanks to Spencer Owens ( Atlantic Built ) sharing his research and being so helpful via messenger I finally did it this weekend!

I did his exact modification but at his recommendation, I cut half a coil off of the rears to help relieve some preload on the springs and then I only lowered the front a little over 2 inches. Super happy with the leveled outcome for an every day driver.
I also added the ICON Dynamics camber adjustment kit. Pricey, but a great kit.

Definitely want to put wheels (probably 24’s) on it in the future but I’m perfectly happy rolling this look for a while.

I wish this thing had air suspension so I could lower it to fit in my garage.
