are you guys talking about the ford lightning? because the lightning does not have a catalytic convertor.

The post was from before the lightning forum split off to be its own. I'm going to guess that it was just carried over mistakenly.

Otherwise a good antitheft device for the Lightning would be to grab a standard 12v battery charger, turn it up to max, plug it into the Pro Power and electrify the shell of the vehicle. That would work right?

I just did a search for anti theft and taillights
was trying to see if anyone has come up with an anti theft for the tail lights. I know someone whose lights have been stolen twice.
