Hey there!

I created this thread to keep track of my interior mods.
Maybe some of you will find it useful! I was very active on T4R.org (same username) with a ton of documented mods. Not sure where this will go with this truck, but I've already done a few things and the truck has about 1000 miles, lol.

My truck is a '21 XLT Powerboost, 6.5 bed. Love it so far!

First thing I did was install my trusty ARB compressor. It's been through 4 vehicles over the years. Originally used to air up after offroading, now I use it to keep my camper and boat tires up to pressure.
This install was neat, in that it fit into the jack holder, behind the 40% rear seat with just a little modification. The foam keeps it nice and quiet. Plus the second battery is right there to power it up. That battery is plenty for that little compressor. I moved the jack behind the 60% rear seat back.

SECOND MOD

My truck didn't come with a wireless charger, so I added one for less than $20

I used an Amazon Basics charger, drilled a few holes with a unibit, some heavy duty Velcro and done. Works like a charm.
To get the charger apart, pull off the rubber grips on the bottom to reveal 4 tiny phillips screws. Then I sanded the sides just a bit so it would fit properly. Plugs into the console USB.

THIRD MOD

I wanted a relatively clean mount for my camper rearview monitor. I tapped into the 12V power outlet. I got to take some stuff apart today, lol.

Nice work on the mods. I have that same trailer camera display. I like the wireless charger idea. I don't understand why that isn't standard when you have Sync 4 that is wireless. Makes no sense.

How long is your air hose to make it from there to a trailer?

Thanks!

I have two 20' hoses in that black bag next to the compressor (I think in the pic it's only 1 hose in there though)
I blew up 3 cheaper compressor before shelling out the cash for the ARB. It's a real good piece of kit!

I know I must be missing something, but there did your shifter go?

ETA: Just realized you have an XLT with column shifter. I dont know why Ford did go with a dash shifter ala Ram

Today I took off the "4x4" stickers and the "Powerboost" emblems, to clean up the outside a bit.

Whoever at Ford came up with the adhesive for the Powerboost emblems should get employee of the year. Those emblems will be the absolute LAST thing to fall off these trucks. What a PITA.

Anyway, I was able to save one of them and I kinda like it here... My youngest daughter helped with the decision!

Opinions are welcome- I have thick skin, lol.

Thats an interesting power source. Do you think that would be a good place to get power for a small amp?

Nope. I would go directly to the underhood battery for an amp.

Glancing over the website, that looks like the ARB CKMA compressor, correct? And is it 12V or 24V?
