I got that email about a week before my wave was pulled. Almost coincidental.

Got the approval email way back, but of course no allocation. I now have this certificate showing on my Lightning reservation. Ford is getting sloppy with their editing, the last line of the small print says to take advantage of the offer by 12/31/21.

A finance pre-approval button showed up on my reservation page today. I received an email about this about a month ago.

right, these 'pre-approval' emails or website links show 12/31/21 as the end date - and while I was 'approved' by Ford online several weeks ago, it, too, shows the finance approval good 'til' March 31st. : /
