Even in the best of times I wouldn't want to hand over $5k to Henrik Fisker after the Karma without a guaranty of my money back. He has some history to overcome.

Nothing has been done to build enough goodwill to get this meaningful amount of cash from a buyer. If they need $25MM to keep the company afloat, that's even more concerning. As much as I hope there's a new EV player putting out something of quality and I'm very interested in seeing what happens with the outsourced production approach, no way in hell they would get $5k from me.
