Is anyone else missing the preconditioning option and the ability to see your charging speed on the app? It seems that after update 6.4.0, and a couple of power ups, I no longer have those options on my app. I don’t know if it’s because of the updates, or the fact that I’ve had a CEL on for the duration of time since those updates were made.

Are you using the new FordPass beta? If so, it’s under “Energy”.

Double check your trucks Connectivity Settings on the Sync screen, is everything on?

Yes
If you disabled Share Driving Data in the connectivity screen, Ford punishes you by hiding that charging data from the FordPass application. Yes, we know charging data has nothing to do with driving data. And in fact the truck is still sharing your charging data for anything else using the API. The FordPass application hides it from you because people are stupid.

I don't think I am. Just searched the app and now "Energy" section

I haven't changed anything, and my LER was in the shop for a month. I'll re-check the settings. There has been some weird stuff with my phone now that I think of it. Maybe I need re-connect it as PAAK.

This is the most likely situation. I did not know this, but after the whole deal about insurance companies tracking people's cars I tried to remove any tracking settings in my LER. That's ridiculous though. It's pretty critical to know how fast you're vehicle is charging.

That was it. I had turned off “Share Driving Data”. WTH though, why is my charging speed dependent on my driving data. It really is a punishment. Not cool.

Turning that back on gave me my charging speed back, and ability to set my departure time again.

One definitely has nothing to do with the other in reality. They're just being jerks.
