There are two things that I'm wondering about related to the auto headlights.

1. Is there a dawn/dusk setting anywhere for times where it's dark enough for headlights, but still bright enough for daytime cluster/display settings? I feel like it's either lights on and night mode or lights off and day mode. I keep everything very dim at night, so this would be helpful in those situations. I feel like it should be possible because having the wipers on during the day turns on the lights but leaves the instrumentation at the same level, just not sure how to set it up

2. Is it possible to change how soon the lights come on in low light situations? If like them to be on a little earlier (slightly brighter outside) if possible.

I haven't seen any settings for either one of those.

There is nothing in the Asbuilt that's been discovered to control the lux levels for auto lights to turn on.
Lol... Looks like the only way is turn on/off manually :(

It doesn't address my original question, but over the past couple weeks, I have seen that this should be possible. I drive home around 4 as the sun is setting, done days I've had the headlights and instrument display be at different stages. One day headlights were on, but the screens were still at daylight brightness. Several days I've had the screens in "night" mode but the headlights weren't on. It seems that there are two ambient light sensors and in the borderline lighting cases, one system switches but not the other. If only Ford would let people adjust the settings to their liking.

I feel like I have seen that setting, but it might be every other car I have ever had. Let me look.

Well I failed. I did find the closest thing in the manual. I haven't gone anywhere yet to test my idea, but that is where I would look.

AUTOLAMP SETTINGS
1.
Press Settings on the touchscreen.
2.
Press Vehicle Settings.
3.
Press Lighting.
4.
Press Autolamp Delay.
5.
Press a setting.

I leave mine on dark/night or whatever it's called in settings 100% of the time. I can't tell when the headlights turn on at dusk or when wipers are on without looking at the green lights on the dash.

Anyone notice that there seems to be more adjustability in the screen brightness with software version 2.1? when I bought my truck it had 1.4 and the lowest brightness was almost too bright on dark nights.. with a more recent update, I find I actually turn the brightness up a couple of levels and it is till more dim than it use to be.

This doesn't solve the OP's issue, but I appreciate that ford is paying attention and fixing some of these things over time.

I haven't touched the dash brightness since the day I bought the truck and put it on dark/night. No glare, easy to read. No need to ever adjust it.

While I can't change the sensitively of when the headlights come on, one of the updates changed how the instrument cluster display operates with brightness. I noticed now that I'm getting some early morning/evening driving in with the sun and the brightness changes based on ambient light. I don't really have issues seeing things anymore unless the sun is shining directly on the cluster and it's in night mode, which I've only had when parked.
