I'd be happy if it was only $500, mine will be $987 this year. Stupid AZ vehicle license tax....eats up all my fuel/energy savings.

Your VLT would be the same on a similar priced ICE truck. Did AZ start adding an additional fee for EV’s?

EV registration was discounted through the end of 2022, then they stopped it. I bought in Feb '23. It was a hard pill to swallow coming from a 7 year old $22k sedan that only cost around a $100 to register. Given the chance to do it all over again, I'd do it.
