Apologies if this has been addressed before - looking to purchase to have on hand when my Lightning Lariat ER arrives - website doesn't dintinguish between 2022 ICE F150 or Lightning F150 - assuming it will work?

I don't want to say for certain but everyone seems to be thinking it will be the same. There's probably a definitive answer out there but I don't have it.

Lightning cab and bed are essentially the same as the ICE '21/'22 F-150s.

So the accessories for '21/'22 F-150 ICE trucks 5'-6" bed accessories should be a drop-in fit for the Lightning.

Did you ever find an answer for this? I am also considering the Bak X4S for my Lightning being built the week of 6/6.

Per Ford Authority, the Lightning bed measures 67.1 inches long, 50.6 inches wide, and 21.4 inches tall, providing 52.8 cubic feet of cargo space. (Also confirmed here at Ford official site)

Per Ford.com, the ICE has the same measurements for a 5.5’ box.

So I guess I’ve answered my own question and it should fit. Still a bit reluctant to order without confirmation from Bak, but idk..

I've seen numerous interviews where they've said that accessories for the ice F150 bed will fit in the Lightning bed.

That being said, I'd recommend waiting to buy anything until you have the keys. Who knows if your dealer will throw on a last minute adm and you are stuck with a tonneau cover and no truck.
