Battery Percentage level when not driving for extended period?

Hi all,

I’ll be going on an international trip soon and haven’t decided what percentage I should leave on my truck before I leave. I know I won’t be leaving it at 80/90% charge; I was thinking about leaving it with 40/50%. Am I overthinking this? Any suggestions appreciated.

Ford says longer than 30 days it should be kept at 50%.

If you'll be gone for many weeks, leave it at about 50%. If you're gone for a week or three, don't leave it at 100% or 0%, but anything in between should be fine. There's a suggested procedure in the manual.
