Aside from what you referenced, I'm not certain or familiar with the intricacies of sales tax on delivery charges, they say "Estimated" did the $10.72 value post to your credit card or did they waive the sales tax once you concluded the purchase?

Creating the Ford Fast Charging Adapter​

One key learning from our complimentary adapter program? Our customers wanted a durable, reliable, and robust NACS adapter. And they wanted it ASAP.
Supply for adapters constrained quickly, however we were quietly prototyping a co-developed adapter with Lectron by mid-2024 to ramp supply, specifically for Ford customers like you. In January 2025 we had shipped 60,000 adapters, and by the first week of March we had shipped 80,000 more. It’s also now available for purchase.

• In 2024, Ford became the first automaker to unlock the Tesla Supercharger network in the U.S. for its electric vehicle customers. Now, the BlueOval Charge Network includes over 180,000 chargers.
• BlueOval Charge Network now has more than 44,000 DC fast chargers. This is a more than 53% increase from the number of DC fast chargers available to our customers in early 2024.
• Now when traveling on most highways in the U.S., Ford customers are within 18 miles of a DC fast charger in the BlueOval Charge Network.
• February 2025 was our all-time high for Ford electric vehicles at the Supercharger network (~20% of all public charging visits) in the BlueOval Charge Network.

What is the proper way to apply both points and the promo code at the same time? Should you apply one before the other? Does the order matter?

Last night I saw the availability announcement for the NACS adapter then jumped to place an order with my points but soon regretted it as I didn't apply the promo code mentioned in this thread. At that point there was no way to change nor cancel the order on my end. Also, the online chat person couldn't help and promised if I called in the next morning I'd be taken care of. Then I called this morning and they said there is only a 1 hour window to cancel.... doh... out of luck.

At this point they said they'd make a special request to cancel but it probably won't work. If it does work I'll need to wait several days for the points to come back.

So hopefully there will still be stock available in a week or so and I can still apply the promo code and use the points. Curious about the best way to apply both.

Such a great deal Ford has available to customers and is providing. One would be hard pressed to find a better, comparable in features and quality NACS adapter for the price. This is a very good adapter. With or either discounts (discounts preferred) the price seems quite fair to me. I have both styles and love them both, I am somewhat torn between which is my overall favorite, the original Ford-Tesla one or the Ford-Lectron one, I do like my original smaller one for its compactness quite a bit, however both seem to work quite amazingly. Ford sent me both as a two vehicle buyer.
