There has been some discussion of this problem but I cannot find any definitive solution. As I am hitching my trailer whenever I get out of the truck to check hitch to ball alignment before dropping trailer on hitch it seems that the brake sets automatically. This happens whenever I get out of the truck with the engine running. If I need to move back or pull forward just a bit, I cannot "creep" like I have in other trucks. To move at all I need to accelerate way too much and then end up overshooting the spot. I have auto-hold turned off. With other tow vehicles there was a little "wiggle room", not with this one.

Any suggestions?

Turn off the auto-hold feature to allow the truck to roll without throttle pressure.

Thanks for the replies.

So, I think I found the solution. I went back out today since I am adjusting my WDH for the new truck/trailer combo. I had turned off the auto-brake function but had not restarted the truck. Today everything worked fine. So I presume that some changes to setting do not take effect until after a restart even though it said it was turned off.
