Can Lightning's front grille light bar be turned off independently?

I was wondering if the accent light across the hood can be turned off independently. I imagine that in foggy conditions that light will only serve to reduce driver visibility by reflecting off the fog.

As far as I know, we haven't heard anything on that, but I suspect it is a non-issue in fog. It is a accent light that doesn't really throw a lot of light forward to bounce off of the fog.

Usually daytime running lights will dim down when your headlights are on so it wouldnt be much of an issue.

Mercury Sable's light bar went on and off, so it's possible that Lightning's will too. I don't think that it had its own switch but there must have been a relay and the bar cycled with the parking lights and headlights in some manner. Three decades later, maybe on Lightning, it can be programmed to turn off when the fog lights are on or something will be in the configuration screen.

Then you have the lighting controls:
Off
Marker lamps
Auto Headlamps
Manual headlamps

Right most buttons: Dash brightness.
