I did not realize how much I like the lack of the fake charge port on the passenger side.

the 2024 does not have the fake charging port

As an lightning owner, i really wanna the Silverado EV simply because of the much bigger battery (131kwh vs 215kwh)

This could enable me to tow RV anywhere without worry

A friend is buying the 4WT even after considering the Lightning. He has range anxiety 🤷‍♂️ and the Chevy definitely wins on range and charging speed.

I tried out a WT4 for fun and it was kinda nice, but it is very much more a "work truck" as the name implies. Tried out the RST as well and it's much better IMO, but WAAAY more expensive - I just want a truck for hauling my kids stuff around and the odd trailer use lol.

I picked up a new 23 Platinum for 78k (MSRP 117k) and the equivalent RST is MSRP 121k with no incentives - though like the Lightning I'm sure they will come.

Range difference is meaningless to me, but I'm an outlier. Not to mention I do not like the look of the ChEV at all. And the complete abandonment of AA/CarPlay is a non-starter for us.

Now, the Sierra EV on the other hand...it looks amazing!
I'm definitely going to be trying one out as soon as they show up in my area - can't even imagine with the Denali trim will be worth lol.

Awesome to see them taking these EV trucks seriously though, Chev/GM are putting some monster range (and batteries) in these things!
