Done.
I've also posted this on another thread, but here's the final rear. I'm working on the tailgate next.Next step... The "Lightning" logo on the rear.
Nicely done! Looks great!I've also posted this on another thread, but here's the final rear. I'm working on the tailgate next.
I can share the artwork if anyone needs it.
Yes please, that would be awesome!I've also posted this on another thread, but here's the final rear. I'm working on the tailgate next.

I've posted this elsewhere, so here's the info again.Yes please, that would be awesome!
Wow, thank you very much. I will try it out on my Cricut and let you know! What color/brand of vinyl did you use?I've posted this elsewhere, so here's the info again.
Looks like I can't post them directly, but here's a DropBox link, including the Affinity Designer files I created to trace the images.
The key is to scale the final versions in Cricut to get the scale right.
I scaled the charge port to 8.92 inches, and the rear to 17.1 inches. The smaller version of the "Lightning" is up to you because it does't need to fit on or in anything. Mine is 7 inches.

I could clean them up a bit for another cut, but I'm pretty satisfied for now. If anything, I'm thinking of scaling the Lightning part to be a tad thinner so some of the black shows.
I'm using Cricut's Glossy so far.Wow, thank you very much. I will try it out on my Cricut and let you know! What color/brand of vinyl did you use?
@Drkkngt Letters look great! Did the Plasti Dip release from the edges of the raised lettering like it does on emblems/badges?I totally agree that the inserts need some color. So I used Plasti-dip on mine so the black would match the gray truck
No it did not raise up at all. The great thing with the Plasti-Dip is if you don’t like it you can literally peel it off and try again.@Drkkngt Letters look great! Did the Plasti Dip release from the edges of the raised lettering like it does on emblems/badges?
Did it effect your range ? The yellow pops on that color blue. I like it.Done.
I'm actually working on a new version for the front with a smaller version to overlap the yellow, so it will have blue in the middle and the yellow will be an outline. If it looks good, I'll probably do the same on the tailgate.Did it effect your range ? The yellow pops on that color blue. I like it.
Have you thought about selling the bed side lightning vinyls? I can’t find them anywhere and I’d like to change mine to orange.I'm actually working on a new version for the front with a smaller version to overlap the yellow, so it will have blue in the middle and the yellow will be an outline. It still seems odd that they didn't make the front logos chrome like the ICE version, or at least use some sort of visible lettering. Ditto for the rear... I know they wanted to the logos to be a uniform color regardless of the truck color, but it's nearly invisible on dark colors. I guess that's why they normally use chrome for badges or bright colors for decals like FTX, Sport Etc..
