I think the real issue was said here by someone, this cheap plastic stove outlet is not designed for continuous max power and either same person or someone else also made a good point the terminal loosened as these cheap things cannot be torqued. I must say I still did not know that resistance could do this but it did. I do have an ev rated receptacle coming and hope that can be torqued to avoid this, again I am moving and will definitely up my game, I will run a 60 amp wire for my 40 amp circuit and hardwire to the charger. Dam I use to just put the nozzle in the filler neck.
