Chargeport conversion US to EU

Hi,

Anyone that knows where I can buy a conversion kit from CCS1 to CCS2 (EU), I know most
European owner use an adapter but last week I saw a truck at my local IONITY charger
with a CCS2 chargeport (no adapter was used)

Not sure if it's just the receptacle that's different or if there is some software adjustments too.

I agree, and not just software. AC charging in Europe is 3 phase, the onboard charger(s) may also be different.

No it’s imported from Canada to Germany, and then to the Swedish dealer (700km from me). The Swedish dealer made the conversion. They can make it to me for like 4000USD, but If I can buy the parts (and instruction) I have a EV Specialist Company locally that can fix it.

CCS2 certainly supports 3 phase AC, but I suppose it could also be used with single phase.

Did you ever get your lightning converted to ccs2 charge port? If so I’m curious as to how you got it done. I have one (Lightning) arriving from us in near future.
