What do you get when you cross a Lightning with a Porsche 911 ?
  • A Pord ?
  • A Forsche ?
  • Mocked more than cybertruck owner ?
  • A massive increase in highway range ?
I gotta find time to test this with a plywood hood (plyhood)

Hard to say if it will make any improvements to drag or efficiency but it would be an interesting look.

P.S. I would rather keep my frunk space anyway

I think you'd get an Aerodynamischoptimalesnutzfahrzeug.

Something similar was discussed on a Frunk Thread where the prevailing opinion was that the frunk is far more valuable than a bit of extra range. It was suggested that aerodynamic changes to the back of the truck might make more difference anyway, but that led to comparisons with a vehicle whose exterior somewhat resembles that of a kitchen appliance, so best not to go there.

Perhaps some crossbreeding with an electric Porsche could lead to a Taytning or a Lightcan? The latter seems apropos whenever I unlock the truck at night.

Still gotta wait for the 911 but the Cayman EV will be here shortly: https://www.caranddriver.com/porsche/718-ev pound for pound a better platform than the bloated 911 anyway, but just my 2 cents. Would be a piece of cake to have +200hp relative to current ICE Cayman line. That'd be a hoot; too bad no manual...
Cheers,
