If you don’t want it cancel it, the market isn’t the same as it was a few months ago, and with the price increase, not much money to make flipping, if any. I had the same thoughts, but only ordered because I will purchase. All the ones selling now are of course 2022s . Not the same margin for flipping in a 23. Plus there will be plenty for sale in a few months. Same happened with the Bronco, plenty for sale, and able to negotiate now on lightly used units.

Additionally it’s the right thing to do for someone that actually wants one.

I decided to cancel the order, just way too much of a hassle to flip unlike my previous vehicles. Hopefully it opens up a spot for someone else. I will be ordering a '23 Super Duty for my mother on Thursday though and my 130 should hopefully be here in December.

Now I can finally almost afford a Five Guys meal with me getting my $100 back.

I know, opinions are like assholes and all that…. But you are not going to make money flipping now. That ship has sailed and you’ll probably just break even since you probably won’t get the tax incentive— won’t at all if you order a Lariat ER or Platinum.

Like many others are saying, it’s probably best to move along. However, talk to the dealership. They technically are not supposed to do this, but you could order the truck and sign over your order to them so they can treat it as abandoned and place it in inventory to sell. That might be worth something to them. If you just pass on the order, your allocation goes to the next person in line. … and they’d probably be invited to order next wave.
