We have a Premium Mach-E in addition to our '24 Lightning XLT we just got, so I can tell you, the nagging warning to place your hands on the wheel is reset by steering wheel input torque. If you give it just a slight tug to the side, it will reset. It doesn't have to be enough that the passengers can feel it. And if a particular passenger feels it, she will complain that I need to stop doing that. LOL.
I fight this fight a lot on nearby roads when driving wifey's Mach-E. Of course on the freeway if there's not a lot of traffic I just use BlueCruise, our Mach-E came with a 3 year trial of it. It's a 2023 that we drove off the lot in June 2024.
