What happens if you sell the vehicle or it gets totaled during the warranty period?

If you sell the vehicle, you can either transfer the Extended Warranty to the buyer for $75 or get a Pro-Rated Refund.

If the vehicle is totaled, there is a process that we would have to go through. If it is within 30 days, it would be a full refund, but if it is after the incident, then you would get a Pro-Rated Refund.

Hello everyone!

We offer Used Car Plans at $25 over dealer cost!! The coverage is the same as it is for new vehicle coverage.

To qualify, your vehicle must be 2014 or newer, under 80,000 miles and over 41 months and/or 40,999 miles from the original in-service date. The vehicle must also pass an inspection from either a 3rd party company, which we can help with or a certified technician near you. We will need the inspection documentation before purchase.

For more information, contact our Specialist at her direct line- 515-999-8263 or 844-570-2507 to reach our Ford Team!

We look forward to hearing from you and helping with your Used Vehicle Extended Warranty!

Thank you for your time and support!

Just bought my second 2023 f150 lightning on 03/20/24 new. It has 603 miles on it as of today. To buy warranty from you vs dealership locally what inspection is this I just read about? It’s new and under warranty and I’ve had it under 30days. Just curious. Selling dealership hitting me up on buying there two different warranty products, the Brightline one and the Ford one. I’m waiting for my previous refund check to get to me that was supposedly mailed today before deciding.

So with your Lightning with it being a 2023 and very low miles on it, you can just do the extended warranty without an inspection since it will be basically new!

At what point would a "new" truck need an inspection to get a warranty? I've had my 23' since November and have about 6K miles.

You would need an inspection once you are out of the factory warranty. If you extend your warranty while still in the range, you would not need an inspection.

I posted tis in your other thread and you asked for the year but didn't hear back so posting it here too. Thanks.
In Feb of 2022 we bought a 2018 Gold Certified Pre-Owned F150 3.0 Diesel King Ranch with 10,000 miles on it and it now has 34,655 miles on it. It is a 2014 or newer truck, has under 80,000 miles but not over 41 months and/or 40,999 miles sense I purchased it, or is the original in-service date when it was first purchased new which would put it over 41 months? So I assume I would need an inspection, correct? We also have a Lightning we use for out trips to the nearest town and etc and we use the diesel mostly for longer vacation trips, so we don't put a lot of miles on it.

I do apologize! The dates for the new plan are always from 0 miles and in-service date. Since your vehicle is a 2018, it would need a used plan due to the years not the mileage. An inspection would be needed on it.

I also bought in November and have about 6k miles, I just bought my extended from Granger after cancelling the MPP plan the dealer sold me because I wasn't paying enough attention. I realize now that I asked if it was the same Ford plan and his response wasn't "yes" it was "Yeah, it's the same coverage as the Ford plan" I feel a lot better having the actual Ford warranty, and I saved about $700

We are still doing $25 over dealer cost on new and used vehicles!

Used plans do have some requirements--- 2014 or newer, under 80,000 miles and once the factory warranty (3yr/36k) runs out (and inspection is needed as well).

Our specialist is happy to help answer any questions you may have!

Let us help you start the process.

Call our specialist at 515-999-8263 or 844-570-2507!!

Look forward to hearing from you!

Purchased an 8 year 100,000 mile ($100 deductible) ESP from Granger on Saturday. Added the LED option. Received the contract in an email today. Already showing up on my Ford Pass App. Whole experience took about 10 minutes. Also used Ford Points towards purchase of policy.

Figured having everything covered for same length as battery was way to go.

Great experience, highly recommend Granger to anyone considering adding an ESP.

What exactly is the "dealer cost" on a warranty? Does "at dealer cost" mean it's a product that the dealer buys from someone else and then sells at the same price? If so, then why is the dealer selling it? Why not buy it from the insurance provider?

Ford sells their warranty to us and we charge $25 above that. That is what "dealer cost" means and that is just how we do our pricing!
