So, traveling this weekend and we decided to see how close the LOM was and what the exceptionally long trip without stopping would look like. The picture indicates the level to which it was charged. Using my newly installed FORD power station pro, I’ve seen varied numbers from 251-330.

This trip was 99.9% interstate and average mph was 70-80, heat was used sparingly as it wasn’t that cold (45 degrees), so a more accurate representation is that it was on its lowest auto setting for almost the entire ride.

The total trip was 215 miles, no stopping. Upon arrival at the hotel the remaining range was 30 miles at 17%, I’ll charge in the morning and see what the actual energy used was. I do wish that I took more gauge pictures but by the time we arrived the dogs were ready to be out of the car as much as we did.
Not a super bad trip, very comfortable and smooth. Blue cruise was a champ except when it rained. Lastly the ford app and Apple Maps were clearly having a problem tracking state of charge so just a heads up and yes both are completely updated on all devices.

We just completed a 185 trip into the Sierras in California (non-stop, 3.5 hrs). Heavy wind and rain. Truck performed excellent. Arrived with 50 miles to spare.
I love having the level 1 trickle charge option once we arrived at the rental cabin also.

You mentioned Blue Cruise in the rain. Perked my curiosity as old style cruise control always warned against using in wet conditions. How did it perform in the wet?

It’s something that gets confused, is probably the best way to describe it. When it’s super wet and/or stormy it’s seems to not be able to see the lines. The adaptive stuff and lane keeping works alright but that’s about it.

I have to admit, I like radar cruise in the rain. The major issue with cruise in inclement weather is that old school cars would keep giving it more and more gas when the tires slipped, with modern traction control the cruise disables and that isn't an issue.

What i like is that I can speed up or slow down with the cruise buttons, I can also gas or brake like I'm driving manually, but there is now another capability looking forward in addition to my eyes. And when I'm trying to monitor to the front, the sides, and to the rear having something also always looking forward is nice. Cameras can do that too, and they do, but radar can see through weather better than cameras, so now you have three things watching forward.

As a Lightning driver with ten, 1500 mile trips in the last two years, I can say that for me, the chief determinant for range is my bladder, not the battery.
Indeed. I made a 300 mile trip last fall. Stopped once to charge, 30 min. And five other stops to empty my bladder.
