@G-Zeus what Bluetooth dongle are you using with ABRP? I’m looking to get one so interested in your recommendation.
That's very helpful - just purchased. Thanks very much!
- First, here is the live data comparison for what is offered for each car.
- Second, here is the information about the ODB connection.
- Third, I bought the ODBLink CX.
Enjoy!
The Sync 4 screen (and door pillar) on the ICE F150 has the eye-tracking hardware built in (as opposed to the ugly dash appendages with Sync 4A). Bluecruise should become available on 2024 Lightning XLT, and perhaps Pro, with Sync 4.No. They are missing all the eye tracking hardware.
I have a question. I have read comments about “ping ponging” before, but I don’t understand something: the basic “Lane-Keeping” feature ought to ping-pong (old technology, it works that way), but not “Lane CENTERING”, and not Bluecruise! I have Lane Centering in my XLT 312A (but not Bluecruise, obviously), in addition to Lane Keeping (which is only active when Cruise Control is off), and Lane Centering does a perfect job of keeping the truck centered between the lines, on highways or low speed roads. How is it, then, that Bluecruise trucks (an upgrade from Lane Centering- which is itself an upgrade from Lane Keeping) can “ping pong”? Is Lane Centering not enabled in Settings on these Bluecruise trucks, causing the trucks to fall back to Lane Keeping? Or does Lane Centering not work as well, when using Bluecruise? I’ve always wished my XLT 312A had Bluecruise in addition to Lane Centering, but if that makes it ping-pong, no thanks! When BC 1.3 is released, you will love it.
My MME has BC 1.2 and I love it - does not ping pong within the lane, moves over for large trucks and vehicles that come into my lane plus has intelligent lane change assist while hands free.
I got 3 yr blue cruise included with my MSRP price. Since I only use my lightning locally I don't find it that useful. Definitely won't be renewing at any price when my 3 years are up.Paid $600 for 3 years on both Mach-E and Lightning in purchase price. $800 a year is too much. $75 a month will be what we take, if anything, and only for a long trip.
I'm still confused on where blue cruise really begins in functionality as well. With lane centering and adaptive cruise control, it pretty much drives the car and I believe those are separate from blue cruise. That leaves me wondering what blue cruise adds in addition to that.I have a question. The ability to take your hands off the wheel. My truck is still in production, but based on the MachE, taking my hands off the wheel, or even just driving in a straight line long enough without moving the wheel, will result in alerts popping on and attention grabbing tones when it's not in "Blue Cruise". But with Bluecruise on I don't have to do anything but look at the road. Best use was when there was no food near the chargers and I was eating in the car to make up time. That leaves me wondering what blue cruise adds in addition to that.
